Neddy Smith, with his latest CD released, “Mood Swing,” will perform two shows only at Firehouse12, July 11th at 8: 30 PM. and 10 PM.
Neddy Smith is an internationally known Bassist, Educator, composer, performer, and recording artist. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, W.I. Neddy fuses his cultural tradition with Jazz's new perspective. His concerts are interactive, energetic, and informative. His music is fresh and enjoyable from the title track of "Mood Swing" to "There Goes Monk," which he dedicated to one of Jazz's early icons, Thelonius Monk. Neddy will go into his vocal improvisational style and other tracks from some of his previous works, such as Busting Out and others he has performed but has not yet released. To see Neddy in concert is a treat, and you'll love all the musicians he has assembled for his Mood Swing concert.
